Dear Students:

I AM VERY proud of you!

When I see, when I feel, that we are all working together and everyone is advancing in knowledge, maturity, and understanding, understanding, that is, of our Earth and the History of its peoples and cultures, AND, as you expand your vocabularies which enhances your ability to understand everything you hear or study, and advances your ability to express yourselves, then I am happy, and I truly feel, alongside all of you: The Joy of Learning!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

We do a lot of special and unique learning activities in our class, Classroom 16! Be proud that you belong in this class, AND be worthy of it!

Let's talk about all that. It's an interesting question about how one can be worthy, and to contemplate all that's unique and special here.

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

Today's "theme" in OUR great Classroom 16! is "sharing."

From the time you enter Kindergarten, to the time you exit College, education is all about 'sharing.'

     How is this so?

What are the 10,000 ways in which it happens?

Let's talk about that; let's share your ideas and feelings on that THEME.

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

Dear Students:

We've got a lot of learning to "squeeze-in" today, into the hours, into the minutes grated us for a school-day together.

Strive for Excellence in it all, and keep your attention on the tasks-at-hand, so that YOU don't disrupt your learning or the learning of others!

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis

ON THE MORNING OF THE BLACK HISTORY MONTH ASSEMBY

Dear Students:

Today we stand TOGETHER, as a hundred-thousand stood together 57 years ago!

Let us FEEL the Presence of the great Martin Luther King, Jr. as we communicate his words, mighty ideas, and a powerful message, still full of meaning today, giving the feeling and ideas of those words to all who shall be gathered today to listen.

     Make me proud today.

           Sincerely,

           Mr. Stathis
